I think that the convertible with stripes looks great! I get lots of compliments on mine -- the auto detail shop where I take it said they always hear comments when they work on it as well.

I don't see the reasoning behind the "stripes don't continue over the roof" statement. My 1970 Mach 1 only has the stripe "hood treatment". The stripe doesn't continue over the roof,and the last time I looked, its considered a classic. If you like it, stripe it.

OK... thank you guys for all the pics. All of your beautiful striped verts have convinced me to get mine done. OK, so what's the next step. Will the dealer do this? I want to install a hood scoop (most likely CDC smooth hood scoop) so obviously that should come first before I get it striped. I presume the dealer will be able to stripe over the CDC scoop....??

Or do I go to a custom body shop?? Recommend any near Charlotte??[:-]
