I love the look of a good stripe job... but I have a vert and I wonder if it will look right. Has anyone striped their convertibles? Please post pics !!!

 

Sorry but that would look lame in my opinion. When the hood is up it looks funky. The Shelby Cobra at my dealership was a vert and had no stripes. It looked better.

 

I've had no complaints about mine... I think I was one of the first to go HUGE stripe on my vert...

 

Ive seen striped verts before.. they dont look bad when the top is down but if you ride alot with it up.. idk.. just doesnt look right IMO. Its really up to you but if it was mine, I wouldnt do it.

OR.. what you could do, if you really want to stripe it, is do the old Boss type stripes... I like this type better anyways

 

I'm leaning towards the classic 2-stripe on my black vert.... stripes most likely in a dark gray. Personally I think it will look sharp but I'm also interested in everyone's opinions. Why doesn't ponybuilder.com offer a stripe package??

If it was me I'd have to go flat black like my top so it would match when the top's up.
