Default Permanent rear spoiler removal

I need to remove the rear spoiler so my wife can see better. Has anyone done this and at what cost? I would only be satisfied with a job that never leaves a clue a spoiler ever existed. Thanks

Seriously, that spoiler is no obstruction at all... I can't look to the side at all with those crappy side windows, but I hardly notice the spoiler when looking out back.

It costs a pretty penny, and will leave your mustang feeling bare when you look at the back. But if you are really in love with the clean booth look you should go talk to a body shop. But personally: Keep the spoiler and tell your wife she needs to look past it…

Raise the height of the driver seat - problem solved cheaply.

I'm playin with the idea of removing my also, just like the cleaner look. I have run a search here which came up empty and posted asking for anyone who had done this. Not much luck. I plan on posting pic's and cost when I and if I go thru it. GTVERT06 let me know what you end up doing I'd be interested in hearing/seeing.

Most of the information on spoiler deletes are included with aftermarket spoilers. Try a couple of different searches. Bottom line, you can take it off and replace it with a number of different choices of aftermarket spoilers or leave it bare. Some of the aftermarket spoilers will cover the OEM holes, most will not. You can look at the CDC site and they have a spoiler delete part which IMO looks like crap. Better off going to a bodyshop so they can fill them in and paint the trunk.

It is so expensive to have a shop do it that it maybe cheaper to buy a carbon fiber trunck lid and have it painted.

Good Luck!!

+1 on raising the drivers seat.
Or see if someone wants to trade trunks or if there are any take offs in your color for sale

I think you mean these...IMO they don't look good, but $89 is cheaper than a body shop.
