I've only had my new Musdtang for about 3 weeks now, and I thought the blinker was a bit loud, and kinda cheap plastic sounding. I'd also like to know where it's located.
Thanks...

I just love the irony in the folks who say the flasher's too loud, but yet can't find it.

(Sorry. If I knew where it was at, I'd tell ya...)

I think that the loudness of the blinkers and their sound are perfect for this car.

I actually wouldn't mind replacing it with a normal blinker relay. Sounds too "digital" if that's a good way of describing it. I like the old school sound better.

I'm not sure, but dont think there is a module- pretty sure its part of the spanish oak control package- and also pretty sure it actually has a 'speaker' of sorts somewhere(as someone above mentioned it sounded 'digital'). Funny thing, I let my sister-in-law try mine out when I'd first got it- she was 'wow-ing' about everything, but I really thought it was almost comical when she turned on a turn signal and said "even the turn signals sound cool!"... as much as I like the car, I still thought that was funny

well, just tried to open the schematics on the service DVD, and the disk is bad...got me curious where its at too...I'm still guessing its a speaker/piezoelectric device maybe in the instrument cluster- bet its the same thing that makes the 'chime' sounds if lights are left on, sure sounds like it comes from the cluster...

A funny thing I noticed on mine with the blinker noise... when the "fasten seatbelt" chime is ringing and you put the turn signal on, the turn signal sound shuts of the seatbelt chime noise.
