They get no hotter than the stock ones do. I have had them in many cars, and never had a problem with them.

I bought the H13St in Autozone since there's only 1 left and installed it in the driver side and compared it with stock on the passenger side, I don't see any improvement. The stock bulb is also made by Sylvania. Just me but I don't see any difference from stock bulb.
