Default I need help buying 4:10's

Okay so I have decided to have 4:10's installed into my 06 GT. I was wondering if someone could help me buy them. I just want to pay a shop the labor to install them. What exactly do I need to buy?

I have been considering getting some 4.10s as well. I was quoted $625 for the parts and the install. I have two questions... is that a good price and is this mod worth this much dough? That seems like a lot of cheddar if 4.10s are no big deal.

Yes, get the Ford Racing gears, they have a reputation of being quieter than Motives. $625 installed is a good price, and yes, the change in ratio is well worth it. Behind the CAI/Tune, gears is the next best mod in my book for our cars.

only reason motives should whine is if they are installed incorrectly

4.10s or 4.30s are the biggest bang for the buck mod that you can do that seems like a bit high, get them from american muscle as well and have a local stang club refer you to a shop

Check out http://www.stangsuspension.com or http://www.rpmoutlet.com
Buy the installation kit and your choice of Fluids(Royal Purple or Redline) 75w-140 gear oil and a bottle of friction modifier

I would stay away from rpmoutlet they have a real bad rep. Also with the Redline or RP gear lubes you DO NOT need the friction modifier it is already in the oil.
