I'm with the rest of these guys, I have NO regrets at all. I love my car and I get compliments on it all the time. My only regret is I wish I had more $ to mod it.

yes....I REGRET IT.....reason is there are so many awesome mods available for this car that I cant stop...it is very addictive...actually if you could not tell...dont regret one bit...but will say for the record that mods are addictive and the mustang should come with a label at purchase sort of like
WARNING> THE SURGEON GENERAL HAS DETERMINED THAT BUYING A S197 MUSTANG HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE ADDICTIVE>> SYMPTOMS OF ADDICTION INCLUDE UNCONTROLLABLE SMILING> HAPPINESS AND OVERALL TESTOSTERONE LEVEL INCREASE IN MALES> IT HAS ALSO BEEN KNOW TO INCREASE BLOOD FLOW AND HAPPINESS IN FEMALE OWNERS AS WELL> In tests on LAB MALES AND FEMALES THE S197 has also contributed to a major decrease in bank accounts and increase in credit cards as mods have prevailed. It is strongly advised that all S197 Mustang Owners be aware of these risks before proceeding with ownership.....
I think Ford needs to admit the truth above and acknowledge this serious problem
Ya lol
so true
I wish I could have gotten a loan to fix up my 85 t-bird but that will happen in time

Should have gotten the GT, and not get the clear bra or the extended warranty/service plan from the dealer.
Basically the same deal for me, except I should of gotten a vert and I didnt get a car bra. Gonna fix that next summer though hopefully!

This is my third new car since graduating from college in '01 and will finally be the one I keep.

'06 Mustang GT 5-speed. No regrets. I'm happy with 300hp and the highway ride is great all things considered. Around town it doesn't handle like it's on rails but I didn't expect that. Throw in 200 over invoice, 0% for 6 years, color I wanted, 5-speed I wanted, wheels I wanted... it was meant to be... Is there another car you can buy that will give you 300hp w/regular gas? 25mpg highway, even if gas prices go up I'll drive it.

I've got a company car to get my from A-B. My Mustang is for fun. I look forward to driving it. I don't even need a destination.

Owning my own business and being the sole income earner in the household, I have to admit there have been a few times when I've had a slow month and found myself questioning whether or not I did the right thing by buying out the lease on my Focus a year early and buying my GT in April of '06 rather than waiting another year. I've never questioned whether a Mustang was the right choice, just the timing of my purchase.

Besides, had I waited another year I could have bought a Shelby

no regrets at all, and this may anger many people here i only paid 16000 for my GT and i love it every day. The only thing that is bad is the addictiveness of making more power. I just cant stop but for how much i paid its not so bad.
