Default NEED Supercharger help!

Guys

I was offered a procharger kit ATI1FP202-SCI , At an amazing price, I notice it has 52lb injectors, is this a race blower?, is it okay to run in a stock 06 gt?

Thanks,

I need help!

Assuming that part number lines up with this:
http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...tuner-kit.html

Then it is a 400RWHP kit (though 52# injectors are overkill for 400RWHP... )

If it is 400RWHP, then with a correct tune, you should be fine that is well within the anecdotal limit of 450-475 that is typical for these cars...

39lb injectors should be more than sufficient for this though which makes me suspicious - I would check the specs of all the components carefully and make sure you know what you have and don't forget to find someone with a clue to tune it once it is together...

I guess the big question is what is a amazing price..?? yes that is the correct S/C for a 05+ GT if it is this one ( http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...tuner-kit.html ).. but I would get a Saleen over that one... JMO ON THAT..!!!

also a word of wisdom.. never fall into.. you only have one day to think..( very old sellers trick ) you can get any kind of S/C you want on EBAY new in the box... just send them ALL a e-mail and ask.. what is your best price as I am e-mailing everyone selling S/C'ers for my car..

again JMO.. but I did get a pretty good deal on a Saleen. S/C. but had to sell because of a divorce.. []

also the 52lb injectors are wrong.. ( 99% sure ) unless you are going with a HUGE pulley...!!!!!

should be 39lb as cekim said.. with 52lb I would think you would also need a cobra fuel pump.. might want to send JDM a PM..

best of luck

Rex

New in the box..?? go for it if so..

just make sure it is for a 05+

also I WOULDN'T install the 52lb injectors.. yours will be OK with the stock pulley.. have a pro do the dyno tune.. worth every dime

best of luck bud

Yes keep your stock ones for now.. have your "pro tuner" tell you what you need .. he will know..

watch out for to much HP.. as you don't want a hole in the side of your block..

400RWHP.. seems to be safe.. as all these cars seem to be different... some are OK with big numbers (RWHP ) others blow up at 100HP less..??? got me why..???

best of luck once again..

Actually "why" is pretty easy...

The material and method used to make the rods makes them totally intolerant of twisting...

Detonation not only deforms the rod by firing at the wrong time, it deforms the cylnder by over presurizing it which tends to send the piston in diretions other than "up" and "down" which is all the rods can handle (more so than other rod choices)...

So, even at lower power levels if you get sufficient detonation, you are done...
