Mustang Withdrawl!!!
Well i have had my car put away for the winter for almost 2 months now...i put it away a few weeks after i started school again cause i dont want to leave it in the parking lot there. Man i really want to drive it. Im drivivng my 93 LX now but i miss the rumble of that V8 and the smoothness of my clutch and tranny. I find my self standing in my garage looking at it just thinking about how lucky i am to own such a great car. Only 5 more months until the salt is off the roads and i can bring her back out. I can not wait!!!!

this is why i love being in texas. doesn't get anywhere NEAR cold enough to worry about storing a car.
5 more months? i'd go crazy, man.

To releive the withdrawl symptoms..take a pic of your car and put it underneath your bed pillow...it should help[sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=bounceybounce.gif]

RE: Mustang Withdrawl!!!
"If it has wheels, DRIVE IT!" Drove my 70 Chevelle everyday for 36 years since I bought it new, in ALL kinds of weather. That's why I bought it....to drive. Otherwise, I would have bought a model and kept it under a Plexglass cover.

Drive in the crappy weather just so it can start to rust and look like crap in a couple years....i dont think so. If i couldnt afford to have a winter car i wouldnt have bought a new mustang GT. Im sure the car handles like crap in the snow and i dont care to see it full of salt and looking like a winter beater for 4 months straight. Bringing it out in spring will be like having a brand new car again. That i look forward to.

RE: Mustang Withdrawl!!!
Guys,
I live in Chicago where the winters can be cold and snowy (not to mention all the salt and chemicals that the city applies to the street) which can really damage/rust a car in a few years time...
I have stored on my car every winter from about December (give or take a few weeks) until late March/early April...
My last car was 14 years old and look relatively new until I got the 2005 GT which will follow the same tradition...
Buy a second car for the winter months and store your stang under cover until spring arrives and you will keep it looking great for a long long time to come...
