I want Ford to buyback my car...will they?
I bought an 06 Mustang v6, brand new.
I had it for 2 or 3 months so far, and it has about 2300 miles on it. I am not happy with it at all. I been to service 2 or 3 times because there was a driveshaft problem. Last time they said they fixed it, it was still the same. Making breaking noise when going in reverse or starting off in first gear (its a 5 speed).
I just got the car back today, and it doesn't even feel the same anymore. I'm gonna talk to my Service Menager on Friday and see if they will buy it back. I am not happy at all. It's a new car, I don't want to be in service all the time. That's why I bought a new one in the first place, not to be going to service all the time.
I wonder if they will buy it back

What does a breaking noise sound like? Driveshafts aren't that complicated. It's quite possible that whatever you are experiencing is normal and in such case they aren't going to buy back anything. Ask to drive another new car to see if it does the same thing. If it is normal then I suggestion taking a longer test drive with your next new car.

Depends on your state and what lemon laws they have.
I just had Chrysler buy back my 2004 Jeep Liberty because they had it in service for the same problem for 34 days back in 2004 (basically, Cal law is 4 or more times to the dealer for the same problem or over 30 days for any number of problems qualifies as a 'lemon'). Since it happened when it had 10000 miles on it, I got most of my money back in October. (about 27.5k vs 30k new).
Since my 2005 Mustang was much cheaper than that, I'm pretty happy so far.

I know driveshafts are not complicated but they can't seem to figure it out? Heck, they even installed a new driveshaft in it and it still made the same noise (kind of like when you're bending plastic and its breaking)

If its a new car, then you are covered under the lemon law act. I belive you need to have the car serviced 3 times with no resolve of the problem, and there might be some limitaions to that. I would have another dealership service dept. look at it as well. In the mean time go over your lemon law act sheet to see where you stand, you should of gotton a copy of it in your paper work when you purchased your car.

So did the service department admit there was a problem? Was this noise there when you test drove the car?

Oh yes, I test drove the car with a mechanic and my service advisor
They both heard it. I work at this dealership, so I hope it won't be a lot of trouble >_>
