Default An observation ...

As I've studied the looks of the Mustangs from the past that I thought looked great, I noticed they had clean lines and were without lots of emblems and other ornamentation. One of my favorites is a famous 1968 Highland Green Fastback.

Note, no pony on the grille. No stripes on the side declaring its a Mustang. Just dark and dangerous. While my new ride (didn't they say it was somewhat retro??) has ornamentation, it will undergo some changes. I'm hopeful I can make less be more.

good way to put it bro....I like cars with less crap all over them too. I'm about to get a new car and the 1st thing I will do to it is take off all the badges.

Yes, that makes sense to me. I will change wheels/tires to simplfy the look and then begin on my clean-up. First will be to lose the pony on the grille. Unfortunately, Ford's approach to the grille design on this model is to outline the pony with grille material. So I will look for a black honeycomb grille that has no holes for lights, nor any pony outline. Gratefully, my ride came with very clean sides. No stripes and no badges.
