Manystyles- I'm glad that you could laugh something like that off... ... You do have a point though- I think the majority has done some pretty dumb things in their teenage years & I'd be lying if I said that I never egged a car as a kid. Having my car now and the love for it i see now why they were so pissed and wanted to kill me... I would've killed me if I caught myself

eggs mess up the paint that much??

 

Yah i go to college about an hour away from my house and i live in an apartment complex with no garage parking and because i knew theres a lot of college kids living in my apartment and i know what they like to do with eggs on halloween i made sure that i drove my car home and it wasnt anywhere near that place on halloween. I already have to deal with people writing on it and stuff

 

I know this is a little off topic, but as far as exterior damage I hate, I MEAN HATE, rock chips!! Like when ur on the highway and get em all over your front end/windshield, ah, drives me insane when I hear em hit the car or watch em fly up into the windshield. I try not to follow semi's to, but it seems like any vehcile can do it really... thats about the extent of my venting.... ~sigh~

 

Been there done that, freakin 6 times. When I bought my orange 04 GT, it was egged 6 times in the "almost" 3-yrs I had it. The first 5 times was mild and I was able to get the egg off before it sat on the paint too long (believe me, even sitting over night on a cool night can be deadly if you dont wash and wax it out first thing the next morning). The last time did $1,100 worth of paint damage!! It was sickening to say the least but the good thing is that the 6 little f***ers that did it were caught so I got paid.

I feel for ya, it does suck!! Just remember to get that egg of QUICK and get some wax to it right away!!! That is if you can!!

 

Rock chipc suck too.
