That track is very, very sticky so I'm gonna ease out of the hole(instead of loading the hell out of the suspension) and hope for good times with the cool air that's expected. Last October someone in an Eclipse broke a half-shaft so tell your friend to double check his car before racing.........hope you get 'em!

I think I need more details about the tire choice, transmission type, and the driver mod fo each car. Your mods put you at 300-310whp and 320+wtrq. You have wider rims but I don't know the tire, can assume you could pull low 13s, maybe but probably not very high 12s.

As far as the mitsu, I have no idea other than I am sure he will get ripped out of the hole by both of you.

The 6.0L GTO with an M6 can be a low 13s and very high 12s car, if you believe all the GTO owners out there.

So more details please, otherwise I will guess GT>GTO>Mitsu in the 1/8 mile GT=GTO>Mitsu in the 1/4 and GTO>GT=Mitsu after 110mph

Last time I was the the GTO's were running high 13's. Just drive it like you stole it and you should take them.

Just a quick intro, I am the driver of the GTO. I just traded in my 04 for the 06, my car is auto and so was the last one. What J didnt mention is that I raced at a NHRA event this fall, so I have 1/4 mile experience... Just sadly not in the new car...

According to a lot of GTO owners the 4 speed auto is actually a faster 1/4 tranny, it shifts quick, and only twice... I am still stuck with the stock BFGoodrich TA/KDWS, not bad if they are hot, but that car can break those loose easy... even with traction control on. So the guy that said I will have tire spin problems was 100% correct... that is until i get the launch down, but the track is sticky and we get to launch in the grooves, then i shouldnt have a problem...
