Default Are Ford Racing Springs Good??

I'm gonna lower my 07' the day it arrives. I'm looking at Ford Racing Springs (M-5300-K). Do I have to put new struts on or can I wait? I dont plan on any track time for a while. If I do spend the money on struts are the Ford Racing Struts good (M-18000-A)? The car will be running 20"s in street trim and if I do any real track time I'll put the stock 17"s back on (see 20" wheel debate in another thread).

Im using the Ford springs w/ stock struts/shocks and I don't see much problems. Your gonna lose ride quality of course but cornering is nice

I have the ford racing springs and stock struts/shocks. I have a few thousand miles on them with no issues. The ride quality is good with the stock 17's, you're on your own with 20's though.

Im running the same springs and I always get an alignment. Ride quality is good IMO. A lot better then my focus when I was running Eibach sportlines. Im holding off on the struts though.

My 07 has FRPP 1.5 lowering springs all the way around. Using stock struts and shocks. Had the front end alignment without the cam bolts. My front end guy told me that the cam bolts are not necessary to get the front end aligned right but the bolts would help with a more dead on alignment.

Car is rolling on 20's and rides nice, no complaints from me [sm=smiley17.gif]

I saw no way of adjusting the camber with the stock setup, granted the amount of negative camber wasn't that much, but it was still more than factory. So how do you adjust for camber without the adjustable bolts?

I bought the eibach camber bolts for under $30. I had the front end aligned for $35. I set my camber bolts all the way out before getting it aligned and was told the camber was perfect. My toe was noticeably off on the drivers side though so I had to get it aligned, but it still road good and didn't pull before the alignement, go figure.
