brenspeed.com sells the SCT Tuner and with that purchase he will be glad and professional to answer all your questions. My car went into the safe mode once just trying to change the my color when driving. A course the manual says that has to be done when stationary. Also when I use to drive really extreme it has done that. I didn't throw a code it just read that on the computer data on the speedometer.
