Anybody using Steeda Sport Springs?

Anybody using Steeda Sport Springs?
I'm considering using the Steeda springs because they only have a 1 inch drop. I want to lower and improve handling but, the car is a daily driver and I don't want any clearance issues. Any feedback on these would be appreciated. thanks.

RE: Anybody using Steeda Sport Springs?
All of Steeda's springs will result in roughly the same lowering - 1" front - 1.25" rear; the real difference is in the spring rate.
I have the Ultralites and have a VERY steep grade to my driveway and live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where roads are not all that great and have not had any clearance issues - I do have to approach my driveway at an angle and generally avoid the speed bumps in parking lots...but its a small price to pay

I have Steeda everything.... I will be more than happy to answer any of your questions regarding the drop. PM ME. IMO, the sport springs are perfect. You got to also remember they tend to settle over time.

i have the steeda ultralights and i never had a problem goin over speed bumps or anything, as far as drivibility if you want better looks then lowering is the way to go but now after just doing springs i might do some better shocks also cause it is a little bit of a bumpier ride but the handling and looks def. outways that IMO

From a comfort and performance standpoint its no doubt better to do a system upgrade - shocks and springs as well as other adjustments to allow for the changed geometry. CrazyAl and others have made this point better than I ever could so just search if you want details, but from a butt-in-seat perspective I have driven these cars on the street AND the track with everything from stock to tire upgrade, to just springs to what I have now...what I have now is FAR more comfortable and better performing and well worth the effort and $ IMO.

Yeah, PonyGT just confirmed my suspicions. I'd like to find a way to just lower the car, getting rid of that embarrassing gap! Seems there's not some miracle shorter spring that will lower but still maintain the stock ride quality.
