RE: Whipple Superchargers
jerjan- if your not fast with a 150 shot of Nitrous already , you'll probably need to build for more boost than I'm running. To me torque is what makes a streetcar fun and in this respect any twinscrew will deliver the goods

Grabber - absolutely no drivabilty issues, it runs like stock, except on STEROIDS I live in Nashville & have been to the Smokies around Gatlinburg since it was installed, about 800 mile round trip that weekend without issue & I'd not hesitate to leave for the West Coast today. That is why I chose Whipple, like I said, it has the blue oval on it and it is as close to factory as you can be without buying it from the factory or getting a Stage 3 Roush.

Horrific - They do have a Monster size comming and that is what I referred to in another thread that I called "Shock & Awe" Not quite a 4.0, but they could have that too, I know they are working on a larger unit for the GT500 that is gonna be bad ***

Im also contemplating a Whipple S/C...the one question I have is: Will the whipple S/C be compatible with a CDC Shaker Hood System? I know there is no performance gains from the Shaker, but I love the look. If its not compatable, then I need to buy a new hood....or even look at other options, like Paxton or even turbo.

Zcat, what did you end up paying for your setup? Is it that much better than other twin screw superchargers to make up for the price increase? I know other systems could be had for $1k or more less than the FRPP is advertised for.
