i think its in the wheels, they look kinda lame. a more agressive looking set will make the car stand out. i also think the back half of the car has a "softer" look than some of the prototypes ford put out, maybe its just me.
The wheels on the Roush version looks a lot better.

Someone on this forum photoshopped an 05 to where it looked lowered, some nice wheels, and a cowl hood. It looked amazing. I think after some wheels and springs the car will look bad ***. But it would take a lot to fix that horrid interior, and its a damn shame youd have to buy the springs and wheels to make it look good right after spending 20-30,000 on a new car...

Exterior wise the car will take some time to get used too and to catch on, kind of like a new song, but for me, the interior looks like snot. And a profile of the 05 looks like a hatchback taurus. About the only thing I like about the car is the round fog lights in the grill. I bet that car is gonna be a piece to work on.[:@]

I am looking forward to see one in person. I really like the retro concept (function of my age) and will be purchasing one in the spring…most likely April. I hear (In Canada) that they will be in the dealerships in 4 to 5 weeks. I will wait until the initial madness subsides…hopefully. Up here car shopping in fall in no fun….a couple of weeks then park it. Then it is time to shine up the sleds.

I think the reason y the front doesnt look aggressive is b/c the hoods 2 flat...Ford should have put some kinda hood scoop on it

That's no different than any stock GT. They all look like a giant rollerskate from the factory.

yah but at least the stock wheels on the 99+ gts have not caused me to vomit like the 05's have. spending another $1000 minimum on respectable rims is BS when you gotta spend the near $30,000 for a car that doesn't really look all that good in the first place. ford shoulda put the rims from the 2004 chicago auto show mustang gt on the 05 gt. I think the hype on the 05 was overplayed. face it, the platform is not new and the car is disliked by many in the ford community. All the manufacturers now are trying to use the same platform on many of their vehicles to cut costs. it's just another step in the direction of conformity...

Yea the rim really make or break a car. If you like 60s cars then you probally like this car. I like the round head lights and curves, Almost all cars are square anymore an i dont care for boxes to well.
