You'd better add tokico d-spec adjustable struts and dampers to your list. I originally didn't; and when I added them (and additional installation/alignment), I was super happy.

You need them becasue when you lower the car, you are also altering the pinion angle. (The angle between the driveshaft and the pinion gear) An inproper pinion angle will accelerate the wear of the joint and the bearings at the pinion. It also causes clunking noises during low-speed driving, especially when you shift.

Also keep in mind that new LCAs is one of the best handling/traction mods that you can make on these cars. Adding LCAs by themselves (even without lowering) will give you better handling and traction.

If I understand this correctly you should either use adjustable LCA's OR an LCA relocation bracket right? I don't fully understand the LCA arrangement yet but, I would assume that this is one-or-the-other not both, correct?

I ask because there is a BMR lowering package that includes springs, CA brackets (I assume they are LCA brackets), adj. PHR, camber bolts and upper strut mounts. I assumed you could use the brackets in lieu of new adj. LCA's.

This appears to be a cheap route to go because I know most of you guys would suggest Tokico's and new LCA's but, is this a good budget package?

Or...should I just buy all the components separately, buy Eibachs (instead of BMR) and add the Tokico's and LCA's (I'd also like to know what are the recommended LCA's)?

Discalaimer.... This is what I understand about the rear traction.

The LCA relocation bracket is a bracket that lowers the mounting point of the LCA on the axle end. This allows for the downward angle of the LCA even after the car has been lowered. The downward angle is what makes alot of the traction.

Search for posts by CrazyAl. He explains this very well.
