I'm about to throw these on for the winter since I'm taking my rims off. Any opinions? I'm about to get them because they're cheaper than others and seem to stack up pretty well. If you have these than that would be great as I am seeking advice based on personal experience. All advice is welcome though. Thanks.[8D]

They were standard equipment on the Marauders. I still run them and they do pretty good in the snow for an all season radial. My only complaint is that in high horsepower/torque applications (ie. Marauder and Mustang) they don't last very long. I only got about 18,000 to 20,000 miles on my first set before the rears where bald. Otherwise it's a good all around tire.

Are you talking about the new tread or the normal tread?

I run 255/50/17 BFG GForce TA KDWS on all four corners on stock rims nice wide tire for all season.

The tread wear is rated at 400 which makes it a terrible tire to run at the strip. Need something with a tread wear of 100 or 200 for the strip.

If you do decide to go with this tire your better off to get them locally. I paid more locally but the price included a one year blowout or puncture warranty, free balancing and free rotation and balancing every 4000 miles. I'm glad I did it, I had a nail got into the side wall and it was not repairable so the replaced the tire at no cost to me. I think back to what would have happened if I would have bought the tire off the Internet.........no good.

The tires look great, they look like slicks, by that I mean the side walls are not rounded off. The size I'm running brings the tire out almost to the sides of the fenders. I think 265/50/17's would put the tires right there.

I live just outside St. Louis so we get some bad weather once in a while........so far.......no problems.
