Does anyone enjoy DRONE?
I suspect that many of the mufflers that attempt to give the V6 that V8 sound have drone. I assume that what I hear inside the car is drone, but I for one like it. I feel that it adds character and gives the car more of a muscle car feel.
IMO, if you don't like drone, stick with your stock muffler.

drone sucked for me also, could not stand it at all and after a while my ears would actully hurt. had to change back to stock cats due to the drone. Now i just have loud mufflers and that is ok with me. Glad i did try the other way so now i can say not thankyou to it. I do miss the sound she made but i drive highway miles and at 60 it sucked so, the only plus i would say and its a big one is she sure turned heads when i gunned it.

I think the exhaust setup I get in the spring will be the following....
Kook's LT coated headers, with Kook'scatted X-pipe and MAC cat-back exhaust....I think this should give me a nice old school muscle car tone. Chime in if you think I'm wrong!!!!!

I've never been able to hear "drone". Does anyone know if the SLP "Powerflo" produce any drone?
