Hurst Shifter Installed!
I'm satisfied with mine too, but sometimes it's a bear to get into reverse. If you start hearing any rattling noises be sure to check your two alen head screws that hold the stick on. Some people had theirs come loose and cause a rattle.

yeah this think is bang-a-rangin! Installation was simple. I am 100% satisfied.

i am 110% satisfied with mine...shortest throw of any shifter i've ever touched, and more feel and confidence than any of my friends' bimmers or porsches by a long shot. i've never had any trouble getting into R, tho it was a little stiff until it broke in over a couple hundred miles. damn it powershifts well tho! I've had 4-5 people ask me this wk if i had an automatic because my shifts were so quick and seemless at the track sat!
Congrats on the shifter...I love mine.
I had the shifter handle bolts come lose too...the instructions don't tell you to apply thread locker to the handle bolts, only to the shifter rail bolt down by the tranny...that's why so many people had problems...they were following the instructions which weren't good enough. You can use blue loctite, but the red is better. The blue is only medium strength, but the red is full strength and costs the same...absolutely no chance of it coming lose if you use the red...I've used that stuff on head bolts when I reinstalled some heads and they didn't move at all.
I've still got the white ball on mine, but I have a black ball on special order through Jegs. I had a hard time finding the black ball with "Hurst" on the side. The first black ball I ordered didn't have Hurst on it.
