For those who replaced shocks after lowering

RE: For those who replaced shocks after lowering
I installed the Tokico's and Steeda sport springs. Excellent shocks. The firm positions make the car feel like a go cart in the corners and the 'looser' settings have a factory like ride which makes long tips a breeze. The adjustability just can't be beat.

I could not explain it any better than that. Two turns counter clockwise makes the car handle great although a little bit of a stiff ride but man it handles great. If you are carrying rear passengers you should go about 5 to 6 turns. I have had my Tokico's for over a year they were one of the best mods. I have done.

I'll second and third those last two posts!
I went with the steeda ultralites, then set the Tokico D-Specs on the soft side and the car feels better (comfort wise) than stock. Love the look of a lowered Stang too! [sm=smiley20.gif]

+1 on the Ultralites and adjustable D-specs - very good combination IMO.
Also, from a performance perspective, if you are interested in driving the car hard, you might consider other/different improvements too - from my experience and comments of others that would include good coilovers in place of the spring/D-spec config, better rear-sway (I went Steeda, but the BMR is pretty beefy), adjustable LCA, adjustable panhard bar etc.
I love the setup I have and it matches that of very successful pro-cars, but I have but I also have seen other setups out there that work very well.

Ive also got the D-specs in my car with intrax springs and the ride is alot better and you gotta love the adjustability. I cant say it feels like a go kart ive owned a crx with full suspension and that was a go kart!

I'll fourth the motion. What setting on the struts gives you the smooth ride you describe?
