How much of a difference in ride quality did you feel, mostly in the handling department not so much comfort?

Thanks, I'm interested in responses too, more on the comfort question so maybe folks can respond on both factors.

I installed the Tokico's and Steeda sport springs. Excellent shocks. The firm positions make the car feel like a go cart in the corners and the 'looser' settings have a factory like ride which makes long tips a breeze. The adjustability just can't be beat.

I could not explain it any better than that. Two turns counter clockwise makes the car handle great although a little bit of a stiff ride but man it handles great. If you are carrying rear passengers you should go about 5 to 6 turns. I have had my Tokico's for over a year they were one of the best mods. I have done.

I'll second and third those last two posts!
I went with the steeda ultralites, then set the Tokico D-Specs on the soft side and the car feels better (comfort wise) than stock. Love the look of a lowered Stang too! [sm=smiley20.gif]

+1 on the Ultralites and adjustable D-specs - very good combination IMO.

Also, from a performance perspective, if you are interested in driving the car hard, you might consider other/different improvements too - from my experience and comments of others that would include good coilovers in place of the spring/D-spec config, better rear-sway (I went Steeda, but the BMR is pretty beefy), adjustable LCA, adjustable panhard bar etc.

I love the setup I have and it matches that of very successful pro-cars, but I have but I also have seen other setups out there that work very well.

Ive also got the D-specs in my car with intrax springs and the ride is alot better and you gotta love the adjustability. I cant say it feels like a go kart ive owned a crx with full suspension and that was a go kart!

I'll fourth the motion. What setting on the struts gives you the smooth ride you describe?

That's strictly subjective to what each person thinks is comfortable and just as important, the roads. Where I was living before, the roads were crap, so I was running 4.5 up front and 5 in the rear. Where I'm living now, I can run 3 up front and 3.5 in the rear and it feels great. Just depends. That's why the D-Specs are so great.
