hello,
I just got my windows tinted and since people in this forum told me about the felt sweepers that had to be replaced, I asked the tint guy about it. He told me they never heard of it and they had done 2005+ mustangs before with no problem. So, I got the tint but now I'm scared to roll down the windows.
Did anyone get the windows tinted without changing out the sweepers with no problems ??? thaks

went to my dealer and he installed it for free.then replaced the tint..this topic has been discussed in great length..NOT ALL mustangs were effected by this. this is a TSB

Thanks for this thread. My tint is also scratching and I was at my wits end. Took it to the dealer - they knew nothing and the tint guy told me straight out that I needed the felt or 'skin installed. Thanks again.
