Stoener where did you get that bracket to hold your filter for the JLT CAI? Is that the S&B filter that came with it? Mine is dirty and am not sure how to clean it other than using air it's getting bad.

Also please tell me where you purchased the stainless steel wire loom kit please! It looks awesome and would love to steal your idea.

wet it, throw some car wash soap on there, scrub it around a little, let it sit for 5, and power wash it from a safe distance away.

Stoenr - I noticed your strut brace fits nicely over the plenum cover. Who is the manufacturer of the brace?

Strange development. Its does slightly rub the plenum cover, and also the hood cover.
But I just noticed they have a low clearance design available now! bastarts!!

It can damage the filter.

I just use some mild decreaser and a hose. Been using that for more than 7 years without a problem now.

Owners manual doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Just use common sense and all things in moderation.

ENGINE
Engines are more efficient when they are clean because grease and dirt
buildup keep the engine warmer than normal. When washing:
• Take care when using a power washer to clean the engine. The
high-pressure fluid could penetrate the sealed parts and cause
damage.
• Do not spray a hot engine with cold water to avoid cracking the
engine block or other engine components.
• Spray Motorcraft Engine Shampoo and Degreaser (ZC-20) on all parts
that require cleaning and pressure rinse clean.
• Cover the highlighted areas to prevent water damage when cleaning
the engine.
