Thier is no reason to baby it sense the factory runs a seris of tests on the motor right when it is finished being built on the asembly line including red lineing it. I would recomend getting the oil changed more often if your hard on it though.

I did good until about 600mi I'm wanting to get on it harder now, but still not red-lining it. I have no clue what was done for the first 300 miles though, the dealer took posession with 10 miles and drove it from Chicago to STL for me. Chicago was the closest one that matched my paint/interior/transmission requirements

I guess you could say i "babied" it until exactly 1000 miles. When i hit 1000 i slammed down the pedal haha
