No insurance for me. jk. I have to be seen in a civic to get this fluid.
Let us know how it goes and that is good advice from Jerseyfury2 about pumping the brake while slowly moving backwards until pedal pressure returns!
Alright, got the brake fluid.... Now as far as pressurizing the system. I've pumped the brakes, but what do I need to release in order for the air to escape the lines? Because leaving it as is, is not building pressure.
hmm......i mean.......if you seal everything back up...and go to put brake fluid in and it's not build pressure.....wait i think there is some kind of pressure release thing.....crap....a service manual would really help here lol
Now that u filled the brake fluid you need to bleed the line again to get the bubbles out. Do this to each brake that you changed! There should be a bleeder valve on the caliper! You might end up wasting so brake fluid but it is so worth it.
