Well you are close. The "GTA" fender badge was only used in 1967 and yes it did mean that your GT Mustang was an automatic. You can get the Vintage badges at any Vintage Mustang parts supply company. I plan on removing and relocating my "GT" badges a little lower on the fender. Maybe for now I will put the tribar Mustang in place of the "GT". I want a Roush SC badge, but I cannnot put that on until I have a Roush under the hood. Can get the Holidays over with so that I will have some time to work on my Mustangs. [sm=imsmilin.gif] fd

You put on the old style 4.6? I really don't care for it. It's a different script or font then the one being used in your 2005+ GT and I feel it should match. Also, it just doesn't have enough gleaming chrome! I think the middle choice there, the "GT" with the black background would be both original and give you that chrome look I like on that white Mustang.

Since I've been converting mine over to a Steeda, I pulled mine off and got the 3 1/2in Steeda badges and put mine there, ill post some pics when i get a chance.
