GT Fender Badge Replaced, REVISED sum time ago LOL.
Revised; Thanks to everyone's input. I think I've finally decided which emblem to go with, Crossed twin racing flags with 4.6 HP... See below...
I did consider the GTA but the badges I found were so expensive and when I saw this emblem, I just decided to go with it. Of course that doesn't mean it won't ... change later.
I just replaced my GT badge on the fender with a differnt style. I wanted to be different and I think this is a good alternative. I kept the originals just in case I get tired of these.

RE: GT Fender Badge Replaced
Never was a fan of the old "GT 4.6L" badge.......but to each his own. There was a guy in Modified Mustang Magazine that replaced the "GT" badge with the old "GTA" badge from the 60's......that looked really cool IMO.

RE: GT Fender Badge Replaced
I like it as well. The problem is finding something that covers the holes left by the original GT emblem. I still have a couple more ideas that I'm considering, I just can't make up my mind. I like the one I just put on because it looks more modern and works with the year vintage of the new mustang. I've found a couple of vintage emblems I still may try, like the GTA you mentioned.

RE: GT Fender Badge Replaced
What exactly does the GTA stand for? Don't want to be a poser LOL!
UPDATE: Never mind, I now know it stands for GT Automatic. The first one was introduced in 1965. I guess I qualify since I have an automatic!!
