Default Steeda in Pompano, FL

Anyone have experience or knowledge about Steeda in Pompano, Florida? I called them yesterday because I was looking for a dyno shop. I wanted to get a CAI and tune but wanted to get a dyno before and after. The person I spoke with seemed very nice but indicated I would not need to spend $200 for time on a dyno and would be better off buying one of their tunes (they use an SCT). He also seemed to push their CAI/tune a bit and claimed it would give me about 40hp (he also indicated this included another part - I think it was a larger throttle body or something. He quoted me $729 for the package. Does this seem reasonable? I know they are well known but I am not sure about their claim. Any comments or experience? I hope to get this done the first week of the new year. Thanks for any feedback.

I bought my exhaust directly from them, and picked it up myself. They seemed like they knew what they were doing, but I bought the steeda intake from brenspeed, so I can't help you there. The $729 would be steep for just the intake and tune, but if they are adding something else I dont know? I paid 675 for the intake and tune from Brenspeed, but that didn't include a dyno tune, which I'm thinking of having steeda do for me.

I don't think that really helps you, but you should probably find out what else they are adding besides the intake and tune.

Thanks Ringo01 - did Steeda quote you a price for a dyno tune? What is a reasonable price? When I spoke to them they seemed to push the custom tune and made it seem a dyno tune would be a waste of money - anyway, that was my impression from the person I spoke to.

the 700 is for the sct tuner and the cai with the standard intake tube/ they offer a hiflow inlet elbow which was recently relased, i have all the above from steeda and think there product is great!!!

but the 700 is for the sct tuner and cai.....

I don't remember what they quoted me for on the dyno tune, but over 700 for just a canned tune seems very steep. Maybe Brenspeed is a better option for you. It comes with the steeda CAI the tube and the custom tune for cheaper than from Steeda.

It's at the bottom on the link.
