Dyno tuning question
I understand that this is a mustang form, but I only trust you guys to give me an answer on this question I have.
One of my good friends keeps hearing me talk about tuners and dyno tunes to get more performance out of the car. He is also interested in retuning his computer but they don't really make anything for his car to make that easy. He has an 1998 Acura 2.3cl with a 5-speed manual trans. He can send out his whole computer to be retuned, or get some weird chip that I don't trust...so I told him he can go to a dyno shop and have a base run test and then have them retune the ECU to the type of gas he wants to run with added performance. Can this be done? and is it practical for him to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated from me and him. Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to an Acura forum and ask the same question. In short to your answer I'm sure it can be done, but you need to find an Acura tuner. (not that hard to find)
