So like an idiot I scraped the sidewall of my tires fairly badly on a curb while trying to get out of a parking space perhaps too fast. Does anyone have any suggestions other then learn how to park or replace the tire to minimize/repair the damage?

To make it more interesting I am in the Training/HR/OD department for PARKING company.

What kinda of tire is it all black or you have white walls ?
How about a Pic to help us out ?

If your just trying to make an all black tire look good again give the Blackmagic Tire shine a shot did a nice job on mine http://www.autobarn.net/wesbm04twe.html

Two words......."Black spray paint." Or three.

[sm=joke.gif] I would also try the black magic if its just a discoloration on the tires.

Good wash and try the black magic first. Just might do the trick.

I've done that. As somebody said, just wash it good and apply a tire dressing. I use More Shine, Less Time For Tires by Stoner. Works for me.

Here's an idea...have your thought about reversing/flipping the tires...you know..by taking to a tire shop and dismounting the tire/rim and remounting the rimso that the messed up side of the tire now facesthe inside (toward thethe axle)...not sure I explained my self.......
