What is that on the 2007 Mustang Trunk Lid
At the dealership getting an oil change and I was looking at the 2007 GTs. Simple question, what is that plastic piece on the trunk lid just forward of the spoiler?

Probably the satellite radio antenna or the antenna for the navigation. Should be a black, plastic looking piece that looks like it was smushed onto the car.

Thanks, I thought it was some sort of antenna, but Ford should have made it stylish like the BMW. I would not want that thing on my trunk lid. Maybe some aftermarket gurus will come up with something better to replace it.

yes, it's definately the satellite antenna ... have it on mine. I don't like it much, but would much rather have the satellite than worry about how this stupid little hump looks. Ford gives you 6 months free. So far I'm 3 weeks in. I wonder what's under it? If I took it off, would there be a big hole there? Anyone take it off and replace it?
