Well, if there's a local mustang club chapter near you, try asking those guys. Honestly, any shop should do a good job on piece work like mirrors. If you don't like their work, you tell them to make it right.

That's my point. I haven't had any body work done in 20 years and body shops are a dime a dozen. Where do you find that "great" shop?

Well to start I have known the guy who dose my work for some time, and cinsidering he has done several magazine cars, and is commisiones by Harley Davidson to paint the bike for Rolling Thunder well I figure if they can trust him so can I =)

Not a fan of the mirrors just me idk why ... but when your putting down that many ponies to the pavement ... who cares if you have pink stripes across your car?
I found my body shop guy in a small town about 30 min from where i live ... he has a real small shop and is an older guy ... very old school charges quite a bit but puts out a good quality finished product ... you can tell because some shops do a lot of jobs real quick and that signals a red flag that they are just in it for the money but you can tell when the body shop guy is really into his job and enjoys his work ....
Before i got my work done i just stopped in a few shops and explained what i needed done and just talked to them a little while and poked around the shop as much as i could you can really tell by observing whos going to do a good job and whos not ... the ones who say they can get it done the quickest are usually not the best

I agree with Matt! His car and the way it looks is prime example of what a great paint job should look like. Experience and recommendation to a particular shop always helps and as matt said go in person, take your time< and ask questions, if they want your business they will answer your questions.

Good adivice indeed, also go to shows and see who painted some of the nicer cars in you local area. When you go to look at a shop see examples of their work, in person if possible is always better than pictures. Also look to see how organized the shop is, generally speaking a more organized shop will take better care of your car.
