MP3 Player

Anyway to hard wire or wire in an MP3 player into the back of the Shaker 500 Stereo System? Instead of using an FM transmitter.

I've seen recommendations several times in this forum about the PIE adaptor. Not sure how good it is, but from the reviews I've read it is pretty good. Here's a link from Crutchfield on it:
