CONCLUSION!! WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG?? CONCLUSION!!!!
??WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG?
Okay I currently own a 2005 GT Coupe, its got 7,000 miles fully loaded 5 star condition. I found this dealership about an hour away that has an 2004 SVT Cobra with 32,000 miles, of course loaded, but has some wear/tear/ding(s) and needs tires. Here's the kicker though, the motor in the Cobra has been pulled and replaced with a brand new one. It had to be swapped out supposidly because the previous owner ran 87 octane. It has the same SVT 32valve 4.6 with eaton blower, and has aftermarket UD pullies. Its under warranty for another 4,000 miles. I'll attach the pix and VIN# for you all to see of the SVT. If anyone has a carfax account or something similar to find out any history that would be greatly appreciated. I currently dont have an account but if anyone has one of those with unlimited Vin# searches that would be Awesome! Anyhow so It sounds like the dealer will do a straight swap but I'd like to put a few bux in the bank for tires and any issues I may run into. Anyhow would you do the deal, or how much would you want $ on top of the SVT to make the deal. Any comments/feedback/etc would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS GUYS!!

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
Thanks for the reply! Asking $21,000 and is pretty firm.. They will put rubber on at my expense for wholesale price of $600-700. The dont sound to interested in fixing anything only becuase they're selling it on consignment.

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
The results from the polls are so funny. I posted this same thing in the 4.6L V8 forum as well as here, and in the other forum everyones says YES do it in a heart beat followed by the poll results backing it up wholeheartidly. And in here the poll results say dont do it... LOL what do I do!!!!

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
Would i buy that car ? as in the terminator ? Yes! but that particular one for that price? i dont know depending on what your bank account looks like bc it does have low milage... i might look around a little more for a better deal or what not ...
Honestly i love my car but right after i bought it i saw a guy selling a black 04 around here and it was so tempting i would have def got it if i didnt already have my car ... you can get those babies to 600 ponies so easily they respond amazing to mods.
If you like the color the interior the condition and everything id go for it ... but you might be able to find a better deal somewhere i dont know

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
Well buying a used car is buying someone elses problems! If you get into this cobra you'll find out why the door was dinged and the motor was swapped out. There may be evern more problems too!

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
Actually according to Kelly Blue book, and the Manhiem Auctions the Terminator is VERY cheap! Becuase the engines been pulled, but Im really hoping the thing is in decent condition. If it is I just might do it. But I personally want some doe on top of the deal, because of rubber, and any bouts I may encounter outside of warranty. Not to mention who wouldnt want a little extra $ if they can get it right??

RE: WOULD YOU BUY THIS STANG??
Seems a little low of a price for both vehicles... I would definately be searching for a carfax report on that cobra, 21k sounds way low to me. You can try off topic, theres a few people that have carfax abilities so cant hurt to make a post... Also theres no way Id give up your 2005 with only 7k miles on it for only 21.
