Very good and fair comparison.Good to see that there are still a fewin the younger crowd that don't drive ricers.

Also i agree with one of the previous posts F*@k Camaro.
Thanks for noticing. I almost was a ricer. My parents told me if I get a Mustang I was only allowed a V6 because "I couldn't handle a V8". I could have thrown the spoiled brat routine to try to get a V8, but I knew I would be told I'd be getting a Toyota or Honda or maybe nothing at all if I acted like that. In the end I decided that one day I would get a GT and I should be lucky I was even allowed to get a brand new Mustang in the first place.

My mom was the one witht he most arguement when it came to options though. She wanted me to have a V6 with an auto tranny whereas I wanted the GT with a 5spd. She allowed me to build my own V6 online with everything I wanted and her only requirement was I had the side airbags and she would let me get the manual. No arguement there. So basically I got a custom Mustang with everything I wanted and a little more because we found my car completely by luck. We were searching every dealership in the area to have all the options I wanted and when we couldn't find any we typeed in random zip codes and finally found my car as well as another with all the same options I wanted plus a little extra at one dealership about an hour away. Next day we went and bought the cheaper of the 2 and I basically had my custom Mustang next day. Th eonly option extra on my car was the comfort group and the one we didn't get didn't have the comfort group, ut had the Active anti-theft system. I think I chose the right one now that the cold nights and mornings get to my car .

Wow I got completely off topic there! In the end no matter how much I type, I got a Mustang as my first car and I'm very lucky and loving every minute I drive now!

The fusion has an engine with what 240 horsepower?
The Fusion is still stuck at 221 hp.A version of the old Duratec.

The new Lincoln MKZ (formerly Zephyr) has the 3.5L 263hp V6 developed with Chevy.

I have heard that the Fusion may get the 3.5L w/the AWD option that is available, but I've not heard that for sure...

What Ford needs to do is drop that 3.5L into the Escape!

What they really gotta do is put the 5.0 into the GTs, a bigger motor intot he V6s, and then have an optional motor afterwards.
