Hooker Mufflers
Looking to switch out the stock mufflers with a set of Hooker mufflers. They sound real sweet on their website. 2 questions....anyone have any input on these mufflers and does a muffler swap void the warranty?

It'll void the warrenty on the mufflers yes, if they're aftermarket (That is, if your Hooker mufflers mess up at some point they won't be covered by warrenty because they're not stock). As far as the rest of the car, according to my Ford dealer, as long as you don't break anything else during the install, no worries. Anything you damage during the install will not be covered by warrenty, however.
I have the AeroChambers on my '06 GT and love them. Suckerssound deep! They do drone SLIGHTLY though at around 1800 RPM, but nothing so intrusive that it kills you. The web sound clips are slightly misleading, since they are WITH L/T headers, so its not a matter of an exact duplicate, but they do snarl when called upon.
Thanks guys! This info is helpful. I suspected the test car probably wasn't stock but its good to know they sound good on a stock set up. I have flow master on my 94 GT and I like the sound but I really like the sound of these AreoChambers!
