Hey everyone. When I got my Mustang, heated seats were not an option. A friend from another forum said he used the below kit on his girlfriends car (not a Mustang) and it worked great.

Do you think I'll run into any problems installing this kit?

should work fine, you will need a hogring tool to take off and put ont eh seat covers...andi dont know where you would mount those switches in the stang, but it shouldn pose a problem.....
just make sure you connect the power to a non constant source (turns off and on with the car) or you could possibly burn your car down lol

a hogring tool is a funky pair of pliers for removing hogrings, which are little rings that hold your seatcovers on.

Where's the best place to get this tool?

So now I have two choices for heated seats. The link I posted and the link mlcrycc posted. They're about the same price. Any idea which is better?

Well, I have not used either for heated seats, but what I can tell you is that the pedals I got from them are excellent quality, and the same that Ford uses on the GT500. I got a great deal from them thru the E Bay auction....(36.00)

They're looking pretty sweet. I've never been much of a pedal guy, though. I'll use what's on there until they fall off.

Is there any reason a factory-style switch panel could not be used, replacing a non-heated seat version?

hey Mike, how was the install of the pedals? I'm thinking about getting the same, was reading that it says to heat the new pedal to stretch over the metal on the pedals..any issues??
