C'mon guys -- don't wish anything bad on the guy! It's a free country! You can smoke all you want, eat all you want, drink all you want, drive around without seatbelts if you want! This is America baby!!

Of course, you're also free to shoot through your windshield at 50 miles per hour and go feeling around for your eyeballs on the pavement afterwards.

i never wore my seatbelt...until recently.

was in a friend's car, and we got rear-ended by a suburban soccer mom on her cell phone (strangely enough her vehicle was a suburban....or expedition. whatever that biggest suv you can buy is (other than a hummer)). i flew into the wind-shield, and ouch...not fun.

so now i wear my seatbelt whenever i remember, but like you i disabled that beltminder a long time ago for driver and passenger and i don't remember how to re-enable it. so unfortunately lots of times i still forget despite trying hard not to; old habits are hard to break. anyone know how to re-enable it?

Why wouldn't you wear your seat belt? Do you have a death wish?

Once you start wearing it all the time you will feel weird driving with out it on..
I hate the sound as I don't need it to tell me to wear my belt, when I'm just moving the car in a parking lot it feels weird not to have the belt on.

Look in the manual and maybe it will say if you can reset it back to default. Or a dealer could probably do it for you

I saw a bumpersticker at a car show on a 90 something GT that was hotrodded bigtime, said "Seatbelts Are For Pussies."

I guess that means that flying through glass and skipping one's beaten bloody body across the pavement is for Hard-*** mother f**kers.

Naturally....

Truly a moronic statement, appealing only to the mostsophmoric, puerile, and jejune individuals.

Really come on it's not like he said I hate to wear my belt and want to die. I turned my buzzer off because I put stuff in my front seat like a case of bottled water and the car thinks it's a person but I always put my belt on when I get in the car so I don't need a reminder.
