I tried that rubber squeegee on my mom's Corolla (I wasn't about to try it out on my own car in case it scratched it) and I found I STILL had to go back over the car with something to dry off residual water that had smearedon the car.
Oh, and for those who useterrycloth towels to dry your cars - DON'T. You'll use a TON of them to get the excess water off, even wringing it out several times. The Absorber (and even a regular chamois)work SOOOO much better.

RE: Car wash question
When I used to run a detail shop, we would dry our black cars first with the Eagle One water blade and then we had these industrial size microfibers that we'd finish it off with. No lint, no stray watermarks!
