Default Brakes useless on bumpy road?

On my drive home from work there is a stoplight before which there is a very bumpy, pot-hole ridden patch of road. When the lightturns red itsometimes causesme to brake whileI drive over this rough stretch. When this happens, it seems like my brakes become completely useless. It's not because of losing traction on the road either, it's more like the bump is causing the brake to disengage altogether.

I've learned to just be careful and take it slow in this area, but I'm concerned that maybe I have a problem with my brakes (to add to the problems that I have with my fuel pump, driver's side front subwoofer, driver's seatbelt latch, and the new rattle I'm having that I think are from my SLP LMs). I love my 2006 GT, but I've never had so many problems with a new car. Hopefully the brake thing is normal and not another defect.

I believe it's real crappy struts and suspension set-up. This also contributes to the front end noise many experience. I have a BMW Z4si. Stiff suspension and handles way better than my GT, BUT brakes like heck over any road, bumpy too. BTW - over bumpy roads, I can easily get the GT's ABS to cycle on, a real indicator the struts/springs are not keeping the front wheels on the pavement.

I have the same thing on a bumpy road basically. If you have it lowered that seems to make things even worse. Mine will pull even under some lighter braking if the road isnt flat. Others have noticed similar thigns so I think unless you upgrade the suspension it is going to be like that.

That live rear axle doesn't help. I've gotten used to taking potholes very cautiously.
