Default 3.73?

Hey guys I think I decided to go with a 3.73 gear in my 06 auto stang. (v6)Do you guys know anything about these http://www.mpsautosalvage.com/products/list.cfm They are used but would they be fine as far as quality? Is this all that I would NEED besides the bearing kit that goes with it to get them in my car? I have heard 4.10's are a lil much for daily driving.

I wouldnt even consider used gears... a set of new ones are only like.. 150 bucks or so. The install will cost more than the gears themselves.

Id honestly say just hold off a week or two and save up some more money, hell, wait a month if it takes that long but dont put used parts on your baby that are crucial operating parts... if you want to save a couple bucks on used parts do it on stuff like axle backs or something that can be taken off easily if you find out its damaged or doesnt work correctly.

yeah, you defintiely do not want used gears. Gears wear in together. Assuming they were installed right to begin with, and the tolerances correct, they still mesh together and wear together. If removing them, then reinstalling in another set, you run the risk of having to much play in the mesh, or even at best, when you reinstall, they will be slighly different than the previous owners setup and tolerance, and they then break-in together again, just more added wear.
just my opinion though
