RE: H.U.D.?
It's on most of the higher end Chevys. I have no idea what it would cost. If an existing Ford model had one, then integration could be possible, but I can't even find a Ford vehicle with one. Not even the Lincolns have them.

RE: H.U.D.?
I have not heard of one on a Ford.
My buddy has one in his 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was basically the the test car prior to installing the system into the C5 Corvette. C5 Corvettes without HUD are able to be modified for roughly $400 to $500.
Here is a shot of a HUD display from a C5 Corvette.
RPM in the arch. Speed in the center and Fuel is showing on the right side. Fuel can be changed to read other items or be removed from the screen as can the RPM arch and speed readouts.

I just drove a friends Vette with HUD and it is awesome. It's not really on the windshield its like a virtual image right in front of you
without any reference to the windshield, it just seems to be in mid-air outside the window and right in your vision of the road in front of you.
