Read the drivers manual for your state again. Not stopping at stop signs effects everyone else at that sign.... it's not just "you" business. Not "waiting your turn" is a great way to get in an accident. If your are willing to take that chance... be willing to accept the consequences. Unfortunately for everyone around you, you will not be the only one suffering.
The things you describe are what most people call bad driving.. not aggressive.. not defensive or offensive driving... but just plain bad driving.

To many people out there in this world that drive the way they do and expect others to drive the same, when someone doesn't then some get upset? People try to play cop and when they are not a cop both parties get upset. It's none of people business if people speed, it's law enforcement business. I find people get upset when pulling up to a stop sign , I stop and then go, and sometimes I don't wait 'My Turn' well there’s nothing in any law that’s says wait your turn, the law says come to a stop and proceed. I hate people that drive in the left lane of a 4 lane. Get the hell out of my way. If I want to speed what business is it of anyone’s except law enforcement. And most people that complain about others driving are just hypocrites. 'NO one stops completely at a stop sign, EVERY one speeds' I hate people that hold up a long line of traffic to let one person in line. I hate people that let someone in line at a construction site when they are in the wrong lane.
Most accidents on a freeway are caused by left lane drivers, just move over to the right lane grandma and rush hour traffic would go away.
Most states have a law that says,'slower traffic keep right' Guess what. If your going 90 mph and someone pulls up behind you, your slower traffic, KEEP RIGHT. Both should have tickets but ,again, thats law enforcmets business, and not someone who want you to drive like them.

A brief response to your misinformed "kneejerk" reaction to my complaint. The incident in question was on a road with one lane travel in each direction. The driver described barely slowed and went into the oncoming lane to the left and out into a dual lane, one way road, ignoring oncoming traffic causing several other drivers to either swerve off of the road or slam on brakes to keep from broadsiding the GT. I believe in spirited driving, which is why I have owned a list of performance cars that I will compare against anyone here. But I also know the difference between fast fun and reckless irresponsibility. And if I do something dangerous and stupid, it shouldn't endanger or stereotype anyone else. This is, apparently, another of those issues on which not all can agree; understandable. However, it would be nice if we could discuss contentious issues like this without hideing behind e-mail to hurl insults!

This is such a sore subject and I don't think anyone can reasonably say that one person is more "right" than another. If you jeopardize my safety by driving like a dick, I will (over)react accordingly. However, if you are walking to your car and you see me spin a few cookies in a parking lot away from other vehicles and people, I don't want to hear you bitch about me driving irresponsibly. My cookies only affect me, my car and the owner of the parking lot. From my perspective, you cross the line when you involve me with the consequences of your actions. Otherwise, ifyou are the only one that pays for your arguably stupid decisions - do what you will.
Can I get an Amen!!!!
BTW , I have not heard anything back from my engineers. It pisses me off that they can't even write or call to say "**** off". Honestly, I think our system works the way it does on purpose. In other words, odds are that the delay is an intentional characteristic and can likely be eliminated with the right tune. I cant work for Ford and recommend that you modify the PCM. However, it seems that said modification is the only hope you have of eliminating that annoying delay.......if you know what I mean

A performance-modded V8 can turn a reasonable person into a bully and I'm monitoring this tendency in my own behavior. Last night at about six thirty I was on my way home when I saw the #3 lane of a five-lanefreeway parting like the Red Sea in front of me, so I downshifted, hit the gas and was doingeighty before I put it back in fifth, a hundred three seconds later and still accelerating. The problem was, a guy in a BMWfifty meters ahead -- probably on the phone but maybe not -- moved out into my lane from the #2 lane to get out from behind a slower car. He misjudged my speed and rate of closure completely and it was only decent anticipation on my part that avoided a disaster. I laid on the horn when I passed him but the truth is it's not surprising that, when changing lanes, ordinary commuters do not expect a car fifty meters behind themto be gaining on them a hundred MPH.

I suppose it's about karma for me. If I can avoid feeling like a bully in my tweaked-out muscle car, it's then easier for me to dismiss with a relatively clear conscience the even bigger asshats in even faster cars who might do a similar thing to me. There's no shortage of them in SoCal.

"reckless" is a subjective term. drivers skill varies. and I don't mean race skill. simple things like attention, anticipation, reflexes and hand eye coordination. if you are a slow witted person who can't make quick decisions lots of things on the road probibly seem reckless. some people can't drive with 2 hands so they should't try it with one and eat a burger at the same time. some are very cautious even when speeding. I drive better at 90mph than my wife does at 50. so who maybe some of you should not take your mustang over the speed limit. if you are safe about it it is nobody esles business.

LOL
the stop sign laws are... the first one to the stop sign, goes first. if you arrive at the same time, i believe its the person to your left (clockwise) goes first.

fast and the furious was based off of real life!

unfortunately it seems the other way around...

as my sister (and many, many others) have aptly stated, "you drive really fast but at no point have i ever felt unsafe being in your car." point being, people should not be ticketed for driving fast (ie there should be no speed limit), but only ticketed for driving dangerously and/or endangering others.

anyway,if i drive recklessly, and if i'm not endangering you or anyone else, i don't think it's any of your damn business. now if i'm being an *** (like when i was driving recklessly on NYE and got pulled over and charged with reckless driving), then that's another thing. but still, that doesn't really matter, as you can drive as fast as you want in illinois as long as you're willing to pay. courts give out court supervision like candy (that means if you don't get another ticket in 6 months this one doesn't go on your record) so you just pay a fine and it never goes on your record. even if you do get a ticket, as long as it's in a different county during those 6 months,it doesn't count since the computer systems are not yet computer linked! otherwise, i wouldn't have a license, since i have over 20 moving violations in the past few years. however, according to my record, i only have 1 :-D lmfao, thank you state loopholes!!!
