My advice is try to get one under factory warranty if you can find one that works for you!! That way your covering your bases as best you can!

i got mine used with 8k on the dial back in june of 06
its got 14k on it now and the only problems were:

fuel pump - fixed with TSB
rear brake pads - fixed under warranty
water leak - took 4 weeks to trace, but was my fault

Its been great for me so far

Battery replaced under warranty, Fuel Tank Replaced under warranty TSB, and the CD player skips warranty. Other then that no issues to report. I work at a dealer so the car has never been gone for more then a few hours. I would drop it off when I clocked in and it would be done for me when I clock out. Pretty good timing.

I've had a few minor problems, all repaired under warranty, but nothing that would change how much I enjoy this car.

Fuel pump replaced.
Gas tank pressure solenoid replaced.
Smart Junction Box fried by water leak replaced; water leak fixed (so far).
E-Brake froze up a couple times so I'm not using it until it gets warmer.
Broken baffle weld in Flowmasters - obviously not a Ford issue.
