When I first bought it I had to have the gas tank replacement as well as the tube it goes threw... I also had trouble with the trunk opening... took it to ford and viola --- all fixed. Thats it though.

Gas tank fill problem....(tank replaced, still have problems occasionally)

Right front end popping...(still happens, dealer could not duplicate condition)

Shaker 500 skipping...(shaker replaced by dealer, fixed, since replaced by owner.)

I bought mine in Feb '05. I haven't had any issues other than the well known gas tank filling TSB and the front suspension popping noise TSB, both of which were fixed by my dealer. I have about 9k miles and take it to the dragstrip about 3x a year. Best car I've ever owned.

i have owned it since july 2006 and the car is on the streets since march 2006 (demo at dealer) and never had any issues.. actually, while i was driving on the highway, whenever i punch, for some reasion, traction control was activating itself.. i was like WTF?!?!? i am doing 80mph and drop to 4th and hit the gas just a little to speed up and the computer was thinking mayb e i was spinning and activating the TCS. i wasn;t spinning at all and we all know these cars DO NOT spin if you are doing more than 40-50mph no matter which gear you are in.. we do not have enough power to spin the wheels at high speeds but my stupid computer thinks i am spinning.. (nothing wrong lately but a couple long highway trips and i experienced that stupid thing)
