Just sold the v6 (Pics inside)
Well I sold the 05 Mustang v6 today. I figured I would get it cleaned up really good and take some pics of it next to my new GT

RE: Just sold the v6 (Pics inside)
Oh yeah, I have been enjoying the GT a lot the past few months The v6 was a great car, but the GT is so much more fun to drive. I had heard that I would get tired of stick shift ( the GT is stick shift the v6 is automatic ) but so far, now that I have gotten used to it, it has been a blast. I have a grin a mile wide every time I roll down the windows and hear the exhaust when I gun it It was kinda funny today actually... I found myself trying to press down the clutch on the v6 when starting up, slowing down, etc. only to find that there was no clutch... it was kinda odd lol.
BTW the mod bug is starting tomorrow... going to order a hurst shifter for the GT... and I have a feeling I wont be able to stop modding it after that lol.

get sick of stick? who are you talking to, your grandma?
i drive stick every day, and i cant imagine owning an automatic unless it was a truck that i used for throwing bikes on the back.
nice lookin GT, i dig those wheels!

RE: Just sold the v6 (Pics inside)
I was talking to the people at the Ford dealership we normally go to. My dad owns a roofing company and it seems like everytime he goes there he comes back with a new truck for his company or a car. Anyways im fairly sure they were just trying to get me sold on a car there so we would get it that day. Im fairly sure their tune would have been a bit diffrent if they had actually had some stick shift Mustang GT's in stock.
My dad actually tried to talk me out of it for a while, but once we actually found the one we bought for a good price he was like... yeah we should get this one. He was more concerned about the fact that, at that point, I didn't know how to drive a stick shift. I think he was concerned more about the fact that you can have more accidents driving stick shift, combined with the fact that we live at a place where cars come around a blind curve very fast when your trying to pull out of the driveway, so a stall out pulling out of the driveway could be disasterous. He's 52 but you would mistake him for a teenager whenever he drives the GT around. He's always been a mustang guy and is considering buying a GT500 whenever they get one anywhere close to MSRP around this area.
