Default SLP axle backs question!

well, i won an auction today on ebay SLP axle backs. the question is i know i will not GAIN any horsepower but how aboout losing power with them? because they are straight pipes no muffles with them..

another thing is, if i remove stock mufflers and put these on, would it effect my warranty?

Thanks.

I would never void a warranty for mufflers[sm=idontcare.gif], unless complaing about a rattle in back . I've had it happen before. I actually picked up horse power when I did my exhuast. Straight piped but not SLP.

You won't notice a change. If there is a loss in power the smile on your face makes it to unnoticable.

The sound will make you say "power loss what"?

There may be a 1-2 horsepower loss, but going WOT will take care of that...

After looking into all this mess of loss of hp with SLPs, there is no loss or gain just a nice 16 pound weightloss in the rear.

I have noticed a slight decrease in city MPG since putting them on. It might be due to my foot though.
