Sorry to hear about the loss of your pup....it really is for the better and he will be remembered and live on in your heart, as tribute to him by not forgetting and remembering what he was to you and for you will keep him alive forever!

hey buddy I really feel for you on this one.. I have a sheltie approaching elderly age, and get nightmares of him passing WAY to often... I do want to say that I think you made the right call in letting him pass on to eternal happiness!! Your pup is now free of pain and suffering waiting to rejoin you!! I pray that you and your wife will be given the strength to cope through this!!
